    Red Grapes Variety: Nebbiolo 100%
    Vineyard’s Location: “Galina” area (south of La Morra Hill)
    Soil: limestone soil with fine sand
    Vineyard’s surface area: about 0.8 ha.
    Altitude: 280-300 m. asl
    Exposure: south
    Vineyard’s age: 1950
    Total production: about 5500 bottles
    Vinification: about 2 weeks of maceration in stainless steel tank at controlled temperature of 28°C; Manual punching down and pumping over 4 times for day for the first 5 days until the end of the maceration process.
    Ageing: in French oak barrels (tonneaux – 1/3 of which are new) for 24 months. Bottling in August of the third year after the harvest, then 9 months of bottle ageing.
    Tasting notes: intense garnet red color. Intense and elegant nose with hints of
    ripe fruits, apricot and blackberries. Delicate vanilla nuances and licorice.
    Full-bodied, warm and well balanced with soft tannins.
    Meditation wine, delicious now but can age up to 20-25 years.
