DonnaTá is made of 100% Nero dAvola.DonnaTá stands for Don Natale which is the name of one of the producers of this elegant deep ruby red wine. A beautiful nose, loaded with fruit and spiced notes, perfectly develops into a smooth and rich palate with a long finish. The ideal match for elaborated game dishes, roasts, aged cheeses and pastas with flavorful sauces.
The harvest takes place manually in the second ten days of September. After the soft pressing of the grapes, the fermentation is conducted in temperature controlled stainless steel vats for a period of about 12 days. Once the malolactic fermentation is completed, the wine is aged in stainless steel tanks for approximately 6 months and 3 additional months in bottle before being placed on the market.
