Made from older vines, the Tinto Roble draws from its roots — literally — to present a rich, deep wine from the Cariñena region of Spain. Having spent four months aging in Kentucky oak, rather than French oak, the Tinto Roble offers a slightly different taste than its counterparts. Its rich, deep color is thanks also in part to its 50-50 Garnacha-Syrah blend, which is evident in its foundation of berry taste for the palate that combines both sweet and savory for a long finish. This wine pairs excellently with roast meats and rich salads.
The 2013 Tinto Roble is a blend of Garnacha and Syrah aged for four months in barrel. The nose has a sweet red fruit aroma…and a hint of spices and oak, with a…clean profile. The palate is medium-bodied, with fine tannins and moderate to low acidity, easy to drink.
Rich ruby red with violet reflections. Gorgeous dark berry aromas with hints of toffee. Savory and sweet on the palate with a luxurious lingering finish.
